Complete heart block or 3rd degree heart block which one is it?

I was told I have a 3rd degree or complete heart block. i just had a procedure yesterday morning to confirm the degree. later one of the nurses asked about what i had and i said complete heart block and she looked at me like i was crazy and said you would not be going home today if you had a complete and said i have a 3rd. I swear they are the same thing. but that nurse said she worked on the cardiac floor before
