Okay, first of all, I want to read everything you just wrote about Kate and ask yourself, "Is this the way someone talks about their best friend?" If Kate wrote something like that about you, how would you feel? Tell Kate that she needs to talk to Bob herself and leave you out of it. And you need to work on being a better friend.
