Are women stupid to give up career for family?

It seems SAHM's are looked down upon for doing a very hard job raising children and taking care of the home. Sometimes I think it must be only women with low self esteem who give up career to stay home and be looked down upon. Do you think society is just changed too much and the traditional family is obsolete?. Sometimes I think this!
