I heard FWB isn't okay wit you ex? Why?

Can someone go into detail please? My ex wants to be FWB, and I know we still BOTH have feelings for eachother. The thing is, I don''t think I would mind, due to tha fact we still have feelings for each other but a relationship won't work out anymore. Iknow, because we've tried many times
