Christians, am asking for your Jesus inspired support. I thought I found the right man but he's divorcing.?

If you could please offer me your Christ guided advice, opionion and of course any Christian uplifting words and scripture, I would really appreciate it! I am a Christian, I am grateful I have given my life over to Jesus and God. I started dating and I dated this man for about a couple weeks and he was everything I am looking for in a man, except he told me recently he is going through a divorce because they do not get along. I still care about him and love him as a person, he is a someone who is trying to give his life over to our LORD. He says God will guide us, and I have guided him to read the scripture about divorce and expressed maybe he can forgive his wife and mend with her because I want him to do God's will and go to heaven. I know I can not be with this man, I have faith God has a plan and I will not be with someone who God says I will be commiting adultry with. I am still talking to him, but it is hard because he is so nice and caring and I get a long with very well and I do not find that, as I am already 30 and know how hard a man like him, except the divorcing, is hard to find. I know I am not perfect, but this is one thing I can not do. Do you have and Christ guided advice or words you can share with me as how I should handle this situation. I am thinking to stop talking with him all together but he says it would break his heart and I really just want us to follow Jesus and God, even if not together.
